Dr. Caughey is from Virginia Beach, Virginia and attended Wake Forest University, where she
graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English. She then attended the University of
Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, where she completed both dental school and
residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During dental school, Dr. Caughey received a
Master’s in Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and during residency, she
completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. In
her free time, Dr. Caughey enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with her husband
and son Charlie.
